Overview
Join us for a joyous concert celebrating the influential life of Jan Delpratt (1935-2023), and the considerable contribution she made through her decades of service to the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, particularly as Head of Voice. So many lives and careers through generations of Queensland’s classical singers were nurtured and influenced by her.
Memories of Jan as a significant teacher and performer will be presented in a delightful musical program featuring some of Jan’s outstanding former students. Leanne Keneally, Shaun Brown, Sarah Crane and Milica Ilic will perform alongside some of Brisbane’s exciting emerging artists. They will all bring their own tributes in song, woven together with the deft skill of MC Jason Barry Smith, also a QCGU graduate and product of Jan’s mentorship.
