Are your students ready to put their skills to the test?

The STEM Futures Forum connects Queensland’s senior secondary students with scientific ideas and challenges that will shape their futures. Exploring three key themes: biosecurity, biomimicry and biotechnology this interactive event is an opportunity to apply their critical thinking, data analysis, and problem-solving skills in an interactive and collaborative environment.

Through fireside chats with leading researchers and innovators, and interactive challenges that model real-world problem-solving, students will deepen their understanding of how biology underpins health, agriculture and sustainability. By uncovering interdisciplinary connections, they will explore how biology, physics, and chemistry converge to tackle global challenges.

Start the forum with inspiring words from Professor Brian Greene, a world-renowned theoretical physicist celebrated for his groundbreaking discoveries in superstring theory, bestselling books, and award-winning science communication (and co-founder of World Science Festival). Professor Greene will encourage students to imagine the boundless possibilities of the future.
