POKÈMON™: Are They Biologically Possible?

This special presentation explores the biological possibility of POKÉMON ... seriously.

The weird and whimsical world of POKÉMON is filled with colourful animated characters, many of which draw inspiration from animals and plants of the natural world. Can you identify the living inspiration for some POKÉMON and determine if they are biologically possible?

Specialist in Ecology and Zoology, The University of Queensland’s Dr Gurion Ang will take you on a journey to explore this unexpected world of biology.

Limited tickets available, don’t miss out.

This program explores Critical and Creative Thinking, Science as a Human Endeavour, and Science Inquiry, with key curriculum links on Biological Science for Years 6 – 8.

POKÉMON: Are They Biologically Possible? is part of World Science Festival Brisbane. Find out more here.
