Tap into your creativity and reconnect with the art of observation during this guided Slow Drawing Tour led by artist and facilitator Sienna van Rossum. In this mindful experience, you’ll move through Queensland Museum Kurilpa with a series of gentle prompts designed to encourage looking, observing and sketching in a deeper, more intentional way.

Discover the stories behind selected objects and areas within the museum as you take your time to engage thoughtfully with the details. This event welcomes participants of all ages and skill levels—whether you’re a seasoned artist or a thoughtful beginner, you'll experience sketching as a way to slow down and explore your surroundings in a new and meaningful light.

Part of the Digital Detox series, this session invites you to disconnect from your devices, embrace quiet creativity and foster a deeper connection with the world around you.
