Bat Night Market

Step into a night market of the future, where science, creativity and imagination collide.

Australian Premiere.

Bat Night Market tells the tales of the extraordinary bat species, highlighting their vital role in our global ecosystem and why their conservation is more crucial than ever.

As students embark on a journey into a futuristic Asian night market, where bats are extinct, they are invited to explore what resourcefulness and creative food solutions might look like, in the not-so-distant future.

Designed for curious minds, Bat Night Market is a FREE, drop-in experience as part that blends science, art and innovation, inspiring students to think critically and boldly about sustainability and wildlife conservation.

Original production co-commissioned by LIFT and Taipei Performing Arts Center, and presented at Science Gallery London part of King’s College London and Taipei Performing Arts Center.
