The Classical Voice Students return with the annual Val Machin Opera Scenes.
This year, scenes from two operatic favourites are performed: Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro, the much-loved story of 17th Century marital misadventures, against a background of political unrest, and Offenbach's magical The Tales of Hoffmann, where the poet Hoffmann tells of being controlled by evil figures and unlucky in love.
