Amazing Women, an ode to International Women’s Day, celebrates the creative voices of women, First Nations artists, and LGBTQIA+ communities through an evening of boundary‑expanding music and performance.

Curated by Nicole Murphy and Rebecca Lloyd‑Jones, the program brings together staff, students, and alumni, who perform side by side in works by Nardi Simpson, Brenda Gifford, Holly Harrison, Nicole Murphy, and Liza Lim, as well as bold new compositions and interdisciplinary performances by alumni Chloe Forbes, Imogen Ferdinando, Tara Lynam, and Grace Sprinks.

The evening also features Dr Chris Stover’s arrangement of Mary Lou Williams’ Virgo from The Zodiac Suite, honouring one of jazz’s trailblazing women.
