The annual Concertos Festival celebrates the individual talents of our gifted instrumentalists performing concerto movements with the Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Peter Luff.
This year, the program will include Piano Concerto no.1 (1st mvt) by Bartok, played by Artemii Safonov, the Brahms Violin Concerto (1st mvt) played by Lisa Smith, Thomas Ferreira-Montague with the Gliere, Horn Concerto (2nd mvt) , Angus Smith playing the Villa Lobos Guitar Concerto, finishing with the full Sibelius Violin Concerto, with soloist, Lily Song.
