Join us for a captivating blend of science and creativity as you learn to collect, mount, label, preserve and present an insect collection. Your ticket includes all equipment, plus an Australian butterfly and beetle to mount, so you can create a unique piece to take home. You’ll also have the chance to see live insects on display during your visit. Tailored for both children and adults, this professionally guided workshop is perfect for curious minds aged 8 and up.

All insect specimens used in this workshop are captive bred in a laboratory.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

About the Presenter

Since 2003, Bugs Ed. has been providing hands-on entomology-based workshops for people of all ages, in order to encourage and expand their interest in insects and other minibeasts. Bugs Ed. workshops are presented by an enthusiastic team of bug-crazed, tertiary-qualified entomologists who can handle even the curliest creepy-crawly questions.
