Led by Australian Champion Blacksmith Terry Drennan, these hands-on workshops introduce you to traditional forging techniques while you create strong, functional pieces from raw metal. From beginner sessions to advanced and multi-day projects, each workshop is designed to build skills progressively in a safe, supportive environment.

Learn the basics of blacksmithing and create your own set of blacksmithing tools including a cold chisel, hot cutter, round punch, centre punch and tongs.
Saturday and Sunday, 8:30am to 4pm.
Participants must be 16 years and over.
Prerequisite: Nil.
2 DAY WORKSHOP | $495
28 Mar to 14 Nov 2026
Learn riveting, forge welding, barley twisting, forming plate, forging shapes, upsetting and drawing to create a set of fireside tools including a poker, rake and shovel.
Saturday and Sunday, 8:30am to 4pm.
Participants must be 16 years and over.
Prerequisite: Blacksmithing Beginner.
3 DAY PROJECT | $695

Use advanced blacksmithing techniques to forge a set of two candelabra for your home.
Saturday to Monday, 7am to 4pm.
Participants must be 16 years and over.
Prerequisite: Blacksmithing Advanced.
2 DAY PROJECT – JULY | $495

Extend your skills further and create a functional yet decorative boot scraper.
Saturday and Sunday, 7am to 4pm.
Participants must be 18 years and over.
Prerequisite: Blacksmithing Advanced.
2 DAY PROJECT – NOVEMBER | $495

Extend your skills further and create a Viking-inspired hand axe or Damascus knife.
Saturday and Sunday, 7am to 4pm.
Participants must be 18 years and over.

3 HOUR WORKSHOP | $120
1 & 8 Jul 2026
Teens will learn traditional techniques and forge a unique creation in a safe and supportive environment.
9am or 1pm.
Designed for participants aged 13-17 years.
