Labs Unlocked: QUT Centre for Robotics

Experience the world of advanced robots designed for educational, research, and practical applications across multiple industries.

Meet the Pepper robot, which interacts with humans in social and educational contexts, and Spot the robotic dog, developed for tasks like inspection and data collection in challenging environments. The QUT Centre for Robotics also features a robotic arm activation station and robotic vision technology, where you can observe the precision and capabilities of robotics in handling intricate tasks.

Meet the exciting underwater RangerBot, a specialised robotic vehicle designed to support marine conservation efforts by monitoring coral reefs and collecting data underwater. Together, these robots reflect QUT’s commitment to exploring how robotics can be applied in real-world scenarios, from environmental conservation to social interaction.
