Teddy Bears’ Picnic
Children and their families are invited to celebrate the annual Teddy Bears’ Picnic at the Queensland Museum Rail Workshops.
Pack the picnic basket filled with snacks, get teddy dressed up and head to the museum with your picnic rug. With all the delight and dazzle to enjoy, the Teddy Bears’ Picnic is not to be missed!
Bookings are essential. Ticket includes General Admission into Railway Workshops.
Get ready for a morning of fun, including:
- Live music: Sing along with Tim Jackman – King of the Kids, and Tui n Friends to your favourite nursery rhymes.
- Craft galore: Make your own colourful kite or build a teddy bear puppet with your outfit of choice. This can match your own teddy or be a new character!
- Picnic treats: Bring a picnic and enjoy the music from the Powerhouse Lawns, grab a fresh pancake or delicious waffle-stick from Whisk n Flip or snap up some hot chips from the Dining Hall.
- Bubbly entertainment: Chase a giant bubble or catch the wacky Mr Kaboodle as he roves through the crowd.
- Bear hunt: The bears are hiding … track them all down to go in the draw to win a prize!
