Lior & Westlake

Australian composer Nigel Westlake felt a deep emotional connection to the voice of Lior when he initiated a collaboration that would result in Compassion – their resonant song cycle sourced from ancient Hebrew and Arabic texts, which became an ARIA Award-winning classical album. Allow Lior’s voice to envelop you in these stunning songs that advocate for peace, wisdom, and love for one another.

Australian composer Mary Finsterer poured compassion and devotion into this first movement of her rich and meditative symphonic work Stabat Mater, while violin virtuoso and Queensland Symphony Orchestra Artist in Residence Kristian Winther will spirit you away with Pēteris Vasks’ ethereal concerto Distant Light.
