FrogID Week Workshop

Join us for a hands-on workshop celebrating the remarkable world of frogs during FrogID Week!

Perfect for curious nature-lovers of all ages, this engaging session will introduce your family to the fascinating world of frogs – how to find them, how to identify them, and why they matter. You’ll learn about the different frog species living right here in your local area, what their calls sound like, and the important role frogs play in keeping our ecosystems healthy.

Discover why frogs are considered powerful indicators of environmental health, and how your observations can help protect them.

This workshop will also introduce you to the FrogID app – a national citizen science project that empowers individuals to record and identify frog calls, contributing valuable data to real scientific research. You’ll gain practical skills to help monitor frog populations and contribute meaningfully to conservation efforts right from your own backyard.

Whether it’s your first time exploring the outdoors or you're already wild about wildlife, this event is a great way to connect with nature during FrogID Week.

Celebrate nature, explore your environment, and help protect our froggy friends – one croak at a time.
