About the Artists

Garret Lyon
Garret Lyon is a proud Darumbal and Wulli Wulli singer, songwriter, and dancer from Rockhampton (Darumbal country), Central Queensland. Known for his powerhouse vocals and electrifying stage presence, Garret blends original music with crowd-favourite hits, ensuring a high-energy performance that gets everyone singing and dancing along. Garret has performed across Australia and internationally, sharing the stage with legendary acts like TLC, represented Indigenous Australia at World Expo 2020 in Dubai, and recently wowed audiences on The Voice Australia Season 12. His debut EP, Belong To You, showcases his soulful sound, while his commitment to community shines through his work with Indigenous youth and cultural initiatives. With new music on the horizon and a reputation for unforgettable live shows, Garret Lyon is a must-see performer who brings passion, energy, and heart to every stage he steps on.

Keysody
Drawing inspiration from both local contemporary’s and popular old school and current generation hip hop artists, Meanjin based Gariara artist Keysody has an old soulful approach mixed with modern rhythms and melodies while maintaining the sound of old school boom bap and traditional hip hop with his own unique twist. Keysody is here to tell stories of pain, trials and tribulations, life and the ancestral vision and reality of his people existing within the system and the effects it causes on Indigenous people’s worldwide. On a mission to change lives and spark the minds of a generation, Keysody won’t stop until all are free.

Rudy Matoy
Rudy Matoy is a soulful Bala from North Queensland, fusing soul, rock, and reggae into a sound that’s raw, healing, and deeply human. Guided by ambient vocals and heartfelt vulnerability, his music opens portals of emotion and introspection. Introduced to guitar by his beloved Aka (Nan), Rudy honed his craft busking and gigging along the east coast. With every lyric, he shares his journey – offering an authentic, immersive experience that invites listeners to feel, reflect, and connect.
