The Black Summer bushfires (2019-20) were one of the most extreme fire seasons on record. 34 people died, tens of thousands of people were displaced, more than 10 million hectares were burnt and more than one billion animals were killed.

Three years on, Rhianna Patrick and a panel of experts investigate how Country is recovering, what has been learnt since this major natural disaster and what cultural burning could offer in reducing future fire threats.
