Blacksmithing Taster Heritage Workshop
Join heritage trade Blacksmiths Rob Scully and Wayne Schmidt for a lesson in the blacksmithing tent at Queensland Museum Rail Workshops. See demonstrations in drawing, upsetting, squaring, rounding, riveting and barley twisting. Get your hands dirty and make something special to take home.
Bookings are essential and the cost includes tuition and materials. Places are limited so be quick to book!

Session times
Blacksmithing Taster Heritage Workshop is a three hour workshop, running two sessions across Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 12pm and 1pm to 4pm on each day.

- Minimum numbers required
- Participants must be 16 years and over
- There are no prerequisites to attend
- Bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable
- Bring bottled water
- Must wear closed in shoes, long sleeves and long pants
