Artist Workshop: Kids Stamp-Making with Darren Blackman

Get creative these spring school holidays by crafting your own Styrofoam stamp and personalized print! Dive into the rich culture, history, and identity of South Sea Islanders while learning new artistic skills and techniques from renowned First Nations and Australian South Sea Islander artist Darren Blackman.

This workshop celebrates our newest exhibition Say Our Name: Australian South Sea Islanders.

Workshop Dates

Tuesday, 17 September.
Thursday, 19 September.
Tuesday, 24 September (both sessions Auslan interpreted).
Thursday, 26 September.

Session times

10am – 11:00am (for ages 5-12).
12:30pm – 1:30 pm (for ages 13+).

Participant Information

  • $15 per participating child. 
  • Please note that adult supervision is required at all times throughout the workshop.
  • Maximum of two parents per participating child are required to supervise for the duration of the workshop.
  • Parents do not require a ticket.
