Over 450,000 Australians are blind or have low vision. How much would you value the last thing you saw if you started to lose your sight?

Last Seen is an emotional and ground-breaking project partnering ten renowned composers and artists with visually impaired Australians to depict their last or most cherished visual memory. Poignant and powerful stories are brought to life through music including those of Paralympian Katie Kelly OAM, Lorin Nicholson OAM and jazz and blues artist Dr Jeff Usher.

Performed by the Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra, the Queensland Youth Orchestra and Birralee Voices, under the baton of Professor Peter Morris, Last Seen debuts original and inspirational music from renowned composers John Rotar, Lisa Cheney, Dr Ralph Hultgren AM, Tim Davies, Hudson Beck, Dr Jeff Usher, Steve Newcomb, Lorin Nicholson OAM, Paul Jarman and Catherine Likhuta.

Proceeds from the performance help the Queensland Eye Institute Foundation continue its research to save sight and invest in new technology to improve the diagnosis of eye-disease.
