Hot on the success of their sold-out 2022 showcase concert, the QPAC Chamber Choir bring you Girl Groups vs Boy Bands – a celebration of the best of vocal pop music groups from the early 1900s to now. From the timeless harmonies of Barbershop and Swing in the early 1950s to the infectious beats and empowering anthems of the 90s and beyond, Girl Groups vs Boy Bands showcases the ever-evolving sound of pop music, reflecting the changing times and capturing the essence of each era.
Featuring sophisticated choral arrangements of some of the best pop super groups in history led by QPAC Choral Director Timothy Sherlock, this show features music from a range of iconic artists, including The Andrews Sisters, The Supremes, The Monkees, Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys, Take That, Destiny’s Child and BTS. Get ready to be transported by these unforgettable hits in four-part harmony for an evening of musical nostalgia!
