“This song circle of friends will be more than special, and it’s an open invitation to you not to just sit in the crowd, but to feel you are in the circle with us to come along for the journey, and to hear the actual miles in every song. The songs we choose will take you to places you have never been before, that was my dream while putting this unique show together. We invite you to sit in our song circle right here in Brisbane with my incredible friends I’m very excited to share the stage with them all and sing with voices of unity”. Troy Cassar-Daley

Shane Howard

For over 40 years Shane Howard has established himself as one of Australia’s most influential writers and singers and created a uniquely Australian voice. From the red heart, where he penned his enduring song “Solid Rock, Sacred Ground”, to the wilds of Tasmania that gave birth to “Let the Franklin Flow”, Howard’s songs have created a new map of Australia. He’s played for Prime Ministers, Aboriginal Elders and Environmental campaigners, and in 2022, his legendary band, Goanna, embarked on an extensive national tour reigniting the Goanna spirit that championed Aboriginal rights and environmental justice in the 1980’s.

Troy has been awarded numerous accolades including 40 Golden Guitars, 5 ARIAs, 9 Deadlys (Australian Indigenous Artist Awards) and 2 NIMAs (National Indigenous Music Awards) amongst others, and he has achieved a staggering 32 Number 1 chart singles. His songs have been the soundtrack to the everyday triumphs, struggles and good times for Australians from our small towns to the big cities.

His albums Aviary Takes (2019), Killer (2017), Blackbird (2014), Get Out While You Can (2009) and Homemade Biscuits (2006) have seen him playing headline shows to sold-out crowds, as well as supporting the likes of Bruce Springsteen, and as a guest on some of Australia’s biggest festivals, including Splendour in the Grass, Blues Festival and Falls Festival.

Neil Murray

Maverick song man Neil Murray originally sprang from Victoria’s western district but emerged at Papunya in 1980 as a founding member of the pioneering Warumpi Band, which thrust contemporary Indigenous music into mainstream Australia, yielding such classic songs as “My Island Home”, “Blackfella Whitefella”, “Fitzroy Crossing”, “Jailanguru Pakarnu”, “From The Bush” and “Waru”. He is one of Australia’s finest singer/songwriters and his songs have been recorded by Mary Black, Jimmy Little, Missy Higgins, Liz Stringer, Christine Anu, Powderfinger, Peter Brandy, Emma Donovan and others.
