The Workshops Railway Museum are excited to present A Day out with Thomas morning session for children with sensory processing difficulties.  

Meet Thomas and Sir Topham Hatt, get hands-on in the Thomas Playpit, find Thomas on the huge model railway, and let off some steam in the indoor adventure playground and expansive grounds.  

For this very special morning we will turn the sound down and create an engaging and fun space that children with sensory processing difficulties can share with their families and carers. There will be a tailored performance by Sir Topham Hatt at 9:00am.

Event Information

The Workshops Railway Museum will be open early, from 8:00am and soundscapes and Thomas soundtracks will be turned off or right down to a minimum. While the museum will do their best to minimise the noise levels of the exhibits and activities, not all of them will be completely silent. Numbers are limited to 250 for this session.

Please note, the museum will open to the public at 9:30am, although will continue to operate at sensory friendly levels until they transition back to normal volumes at 11:00am.
