Circa Carnival of the Animals
Carnival of the Animals whisks you away on a thrilling circus escapade inspired by Camille Saint-Saëns delightful salute to feathers, fur and fins. Bringing this classical music suite to life for a new generation of circus, music and animal lovers, Carnival of the Animals captivates with whimsical tales of creatures of the land and sea.
Circa’s world-famous acrobats will be joined by eight exceptional young artists from Brisbane. Together they will fly, tumble, leap and spin their way through the wondrous worlds of the animal kingdom in this re-imagined production. Brisbane audiences will be the first in Australia to see this very special version of Circa’s acclaimed family favourite.

For anyone who would benefit from a more relaxed environment – this can include but is not limited to people with autism, sensory sensitivities, learning disabilities, dementia as well as those living with anxiety or who have experienced trauma. We focus on relaxing – or adapting – the theatre environment and preparing the audience by developing pre-show resources. During these performances, there is a relaxed attitude to noise, doors remain open and lights while dimmed remain on throughout the performance. You can leave the auditorium to take a break and a designated quiet area is available.
