Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University Gustav Mahler's Des Knaben Wunderhorn
The Lisa Gasteen National Opera Program’s performance of Gustav Mahler’s Des Knaben Wunderhorn is only the second Australian orchestral presentation of this key work in over thirty years. Conducted by Simon Bruckard (LGNOP 2016 &2018), the performance will feature Catherine Carby and Oliver Boyd (LGNOP 2017) as soloists. Accompanying them will be the 64-piece Ensemble Q Orchestra.
Ensemble Q is a Queensland-based orchestra, which combines highly skilled national first desk players with a large group of advanced QCGU student players, that benefit from collaboration with seasoned professionals.
