He has appeared with more than 100 orchestras including the London and Royal Philharmonic Orchestras, St Petersburg Philharmonic and esteemed conductors including Yuri Temirkanov and Sir Simon Rattle. Bax is also an avid chamber musician, appearing in duo recital with his wife and fellow pianist Lucille Chung as well as performing duo recital tours with violinist Joshua Bell and flautist Emmanuel Pahud.

Alessio Bax records for Signum Classics. He is Artistic Director of Tuscany’s Incontri in Terra di Siena Festival. The Independent called Alessio Bax ‘a true storyteller, using the piano as his voice’.
