Under the baton of Johannes Fritzsch, the Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra performs Mahler’s blockbuster Symphony No.5 which features the exquisite Adagietto for strings and harp which is said to be a love poem to Mahler’s wife, Alma. The concert opens with French composer Lili Boulanger’s Du fond de l’abîme, heart-wrenching setting of Psalm 130 which features choir and orchestra.
