Dido and Aeneas is the classic opera by Henry Purcell, telling the story of Dido, the Queen of Carthage, and her love for the Trojan hero, Aeneas. This timeless work of Baroque opera will be presented in its entirety as part of the Queensland Conservatorium’s Val Machin Opera Scenes and conducted by internationally renowned Peter Roennfeldt.
