Celebrate the rich history and exciting future of Queensland Ballet as its acclaimed dancers are joined by international and national guests for the unforgettable, 60th Anniversary Gala.
The retrospective pays homage to each of Queensland Ballet’s five Artistic Directors and sees excerpts from some of the company’s most loved productions, Chopin pas de deaux, Carmina Burana, The Lady of the Camellias, Cloudland and The Little Mermaid return to the stage. Fittingly, the performance will culminate in Harald Lander’s thrilling and masterful homage to classical ballet, Études in a showcase of Queensland Ballet today, under current Artistic Director, Li Cunxin AO.
International and national guests include Marianela Núñez and Vadim Muntagirov (The Royal Ballet), Ako Kondo and Chengwu Guo (Australian Ballet), Alison McWhinney (English National Ballet) and former Queensland Ballet Principals Ning Ning and Hao Bin.
