Overview

One of the world's most provocative and powerful thinkers, Germaine Greer, joins former Bishop of Edinburgh Richard Holloway; and federal politician Bob Katter; alongside the first Aborigine to be appointed as a magistrate in Queensland Jacqui Payne; local writer Benjamin Law; and criminal defense investigator Rachel Sommerville in a lively and passionate debate adjudicated by Roland Sussex. Be enthralled as each participant puts forward their considered and robust arguments for or against the divisive proposal that 'Reading the Bible is good for you...' as part of Brisbane Writers Festival's program of events.
